Smartie came in from Vauxhall on October 21, 2017, part of a colony of 10 that were saved from being poisoned. She is a shy girl who is slowing learning to trust humans. Smartie is very curious and interested in everything that you do so she will follow you around the house, watching intently from a distance. She is becoming more approachable and if you present your hand to her she will give it a smell and a light tap with one of her little paws. Smartie is a dainty, gentle girl who loves to spend her day relaxing outside in the catio with Godiva and the other young cats. She will occasionally get excited about a bug flying by but if another cat notices as well she is so sweet and passive she will usually let the other cats take the lead, never making a fuss. You will more often than not find her spending her time near the other young cats, but once the house gets quiet then Smartie feels independent and confident and she will start to explore everywhere! Up high or down low, Smartie will investigate it all. That is until she notices you watching her, then she will get a shocked look on her face and will prance back to her group of friends. Because Smartie feels secure and loved by the other cats, Smartie will need to be adopted with one of her friends.
