Meet Haze 🩶

Some cats wear their story where everyone can see it. Haze is one of those cats.

This handsome grey gentleman bears the scars of a difficult past. Permanent scarring on his lower back and a rear leg that bows outward give him a distinctive little limp, reminders of hardships he experienced before finding safety in rescue. Today, those old injuries don't define him. Instead, they highlight just how far he has come.

Haze has spent over 1200 days in rescue, patiently waiting for someone to look beyond first impressions and discover the wonderful cat he truly is. He is shy when meeting new people and needs time to build trust, but he is well worth the wait. Once he feels safe, Haze enjoys gentle affection and reveals a sweet, sensitive nature that makes every milestone feel special.

Haze would thrive in a quiet home with patient adopters who understand that some cats need extra time to settle in. The reward is watching him grow more confident and comfortable as he learns he is finally home.

Haze also shares a close friendship with another LCCR resident, Mulligan. While they are not bonded and can be adopted separately, Mulligan has been a positive influence and companion for Haze. If someone happened to have room in their heart and home for two cats, these boys already know and enjoy each other's company.

Haze has waited a long time for his forever family. We believe the right people are out there, ready to give this gentle soul the chance he deserves.
