JASON BOURNE

This sweet boy lived his whole life with one family, then slowly started to go down hill in his later years. He escaped the house one day and didn't come back, and his family thought he had passed away. Thankfully, he was found by someone kind and then handed over to LCCR.

It turns out that Jason's health had declined because he had undiagnosed diabetes. His family was so happy he had been found but sadly were unable to provide him with the medical care he needed and made the decision to surrender him to LCCR.

Jason is in a loving foster home that has done an amazing job stabilizing his medical needs. He is doing well - he has good energy, interacts well with the other cats in the home, has gained weight and his coat looks healthy. Jason will require twice daily insulin and blood glucose checks ongoingly, as well as a small dose of laxatives to keep his bowels regular. He has occasionally required some subcutaneous hydration so would benefit from being adopted by someone who is comfortable doing this at home or is willing to learn this easy procedure.

If you are looking for a "wise old man", Jason may just be the senior for you! Help him live out his last years in a loving permanent home.
