Meet Purdy - A Beautiful Soul on a Journey to Trust

Purdy's story began in Coaldale where life as a feral cat was all she knew. When she first came to LCCR, Purdy was expecting kittens. Thanks to a loving foster family, she had a safe, warm place to welcome her babies into the world. Once her littles were big enough, Purdy returned to LCCR to continue her own journey - learning that humans can be kind and gentle.

Purdy is a stunning black and white girl with a quiet, shy nature. She's still learning to trust, but she's made incredible progress. Treats are her love language, and if you're patient, she might even allow a soft nose boop before politely letting you know she's reached her comfort zone. During her time in foster care, Purdy responded well to socialization using a touch stick, and she continues to grow every day.

While Purdy may have a "look but don't touch" attitude with people for now, she has a big heart for feline friends. Her current companion is Haze, another shy kitty, and the two share a sweet bond - often seen side by side, tails touching, with Purdy chirping to keep his attention on her.

Purdy is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can feel safe and continue building trust at her own pace. She has come so far already, and with patience and love, her future is bright.
