RIDGE

Ridge is a beautiful thick black tomcat who had lived a rough life for a long time before he was trapped and brought to us.

Ridge is a very relaxed cat who likes to spend his time lounging around on various beds and cubbies. He's a gentle boy who does not like a lot of noise or activity. Since he has adjusted to life at the Ranch he has learned to love being pet from time to time. However, it has to be on his terms. He may swat at you if he's not feeling up to it. He will need to be adopted by someone who is patient and respectful.

Ridge had to have one of his back legs amputated several months after he came to us. He had an old fracture that he had kept hidden until it became too painful. It doesn't slow him down (not that he moves very quickly to begin with) but from time to time it seems to give him some discomfort.

Ridge doesn't mind most other cats and could do well in a home with older children or teenagers who know how to respect his space. We would love to see him live out the rest of his days in a quiet, loving home.
