Harlow and Hex came to LCCR from the Treasure Colony in Stirling, and their story is one of optimism, devotion, and the quiet, gentle magic that happens when cats finally get the safety they deserve.
Harlow — The Young Mom With the World’s Most Expressive Face
Harlow arrived barely out of kittenhood herself, already caring for a litter of tiny babies. She raised them beautifully, and all of her kittens—except her beloved Hex—have now found their forever homes.
Harlow is a stunning black-and-white lady with the most unique, animated facial expressions we’ve ever seen. She’s shy around people and will need a patient home where she can settle on her own terms. But once she trusts you, you’ll see her playful spirit come alive—especially when she gets the zoomies! She loves toys, gentle routines, and peaceful spaces where she can feel safe.
Hex — The Spirited Survivor With a One‑of‑a‑Kind Look
Hex came to LCCR as a very sick young kitten and needed lifesaving care—including the removal of one eye. But Hex never let that slow him down for a second. Today, he’s a playful, spirited, brownish-grey and white tabby who bursts with kitten energy.
He loves to wrestle, explore, zoom, and paw at anything that moves—including you! He’s curious, joyful, and endlessly entertaining.

Harlow and Hex share something incredibly special. They can often be found curled up together, sleeping side by side and enjoying each other’s company. Their connection is strong, comforting, and sweet to watch.
Because of this deep bond, they must be adopted together—and whoever welcomes them will gain not just two beautiful cats, but the quiet joy of watching a family stay whole.
