Meet Lonestar ⭐

Lonestar is a gorgeous muted grey tabby girl whose journey to safety began in a most unusual place—behind a barbecue at a country home.

When the homeowners discovered the tiny kitten, they carefully captured her and brought her into their garage, hoping to find her a loving home. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, a home never materialized. It soon became clear that Lonestar had very little experience with people and was quite frightened. It's possible she had been separated from a feral mother and family before she was ready to be on her own.

Thankfully, Lonestar found her way to the ranch, where she received something every kitten deserves: a family. Bamboo, one of the most devoted mothers we've ever met, welcomed her with open paws. Already caring for three biological kittens and three orphaned babies she had adopted, Bamboo happily added Lonestar to her growing brood. Now surrounded by a loving momma and a houseful of siblings, Lonestar is learning that people can be kind and that the world is a much safer place than she once believed.

This sweet little girly is growing up with plenty of feline companionship, comfort, and confidence. With patience, love, and continued socialization, Lonestar has every opportunity to become a wonderful companion.

Lonestar is just ready to go to her new home but because she is such a youngster, she will need to be adopted with one of her adopted siblings, her momma Bamboo, or into a home with another young cat.

Lonestar's life could have taken a very different path, but thanks to the kindness of those who stopped to help and the love of an extraordinary foster mom, her future is bright. Now all she needs is a forever family to help her continue her journey. 🐾💙
