NEVADA

Nevada was found by two young girls who took her in and tried to care for her. She wouldn't eat or drink and by the next morning she was declining so they took her to the vet for help. They found maggots in her eyes and back end, and one of her legs was broken. Since getting care, Nevada's personality has been shining through at her foster home. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:

"Nevada is a curious, playful kitten. Even though she first came to LCCR with a broken leg, she has healed nicely and is one of the fastest cats around. Timid around people, Nevada is slowly getting used to people, but isn’t a cuddler yet. Patience is the key, letting her come to you, rather than forcing her to have contact."

Nevada hasn't been around any dogs yet but she has played with children and enjoyed it.
