GRADY

Grady the Ginger Gem was rescued from a feed station with his very pregnant mom, Starly, and his brother Papaverno. Papaverno unfortunately was badly injured and transitioned over the Rainbow Bridge in loving arms shortly after he was rescued.

Grady was extremely bonded to his momma when he was rescued and followed her everywhere. Since she has had her kittens, she and Grady have been housed side by side and often can be seen leaning against each other through their crate walls.

When Grady first came to LCCR, he was shy and interested in his volunteer helpers. He has very quickly blossomed into one of our favourite "hams". He loves pets, rolls around on his back or sides and allows pets to his entire body including his beautiful belly. He has even learned to purr!! I think Grady has realized how good pets feel and he is making up for lost time by inviting as many as he can get whenever he can get them!!

Update: the crate doors have been opened so that this little family is all back together. Grady is proving to be the best cat dad ever and can often be seen grooming the kittens and giving momma Starly a well deserved rest. Grady is a gentle, sweet cat that will be a welcome addition to a forever home.

Grady is still a shy boy and will need to be in a quiet calm home as he continues to build confidence and gets used to living indoors!
