Mahogany is a stunning long-haired tabby who recently arrived at LCCR with several of her family members from a local lumberyard colony. Life in the wild taught her caution, so she’s still shy and learning that humans can be trusted friends. Right now, Mahogany is in the early stages of decompression and rehabilitation—a time for patience, kindness, and quiet reassurance.

She may be the daughter of our beloved Char, and if those loving genes shine through, Mahogany will blossom into a true cuddle bug before long. For now, she’s taking small steps toward confidence, and every little victory is a reason to celebrate.

Mahogany has a unique charm all her own: her left eye tilts slightly toward her nose, giving her a perpetually surprised expression that only adds to her beauty and individuality. She’s a reminder that perfection comes in many forms—and sometimes, it’s delightfully unexpected.
