SUSIE

Susie is a beautiful steel grey tabby that came to LCCR after spending some time at another rescue. Her back story is that she was cared for as a stray and when she had kittens, the kind humans adopted her kittens and wanted to adopt Susie as well, but she wasn't ready for inside life.

Susie is a shy girl who has made tremendous strides since being at LCCR. She was initially very scared but will now accept pets on her own terms. She doesn't really know how to act with pets and will gently bat your hand when you pet her, lovingly called the "smacking stage". The "I like this but I should hate this" stage. With every passing day, Susie gets more comfortable and we are eagerly awaiting the day when she will accept pets and snacks without smacks.
