ALESSIA

Alessia and her babies were rescued from a grain manufacturing plant after a caring person identified they were in big trouble. Momma and babies were caked in hardened grain dust and could barely breathe, and many of their eyes were cemented shut. They were taken to the vet, cleaned up and warmed up; after some rocky days this little family is now thriving.

Alessia is just out of kittenhood herself and was the last surviving daughter of one of the ferals on the property. She had severe mastitis when she was rescued (no surprise with feeding 8 babies) but through great medical and volunteer support her medical issues are now resolved. She is a plucky little lady who is shy but has warmed up quickly to her human volunteers. With her big green eyes, Alessia wears a look of perpetual surprise - and she is always one of the first kitties to greet the volunteers when they walk in the door. She will be an amazing companion for a loving family.
