A gentle ginger boy looking for a soft place to land
Fathead is a handsome ginger shorthaired gentleman with a heart as warm as his orange coat. About four years old, this sweet guy has been living life as a stray, lovingly looked after by kind humans at a county shop who made sure he always had food, safety, and compassion. Thanks to their care—and a timely rescue—Fathead is now ready to find a forever home of his own.
Before coming into rescue, Fathead wasn’t alone. He shared his days with two lovely lady friends, Sunset and Bobby, and all three were rescued together. That gentle social nature still shines through in Fathead today—he’s calm, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented.
Fathead is a true softie. Once he trusts you, he’s happiest curled up close, making him an ideal lap cat and quiet companion. He has a peaceful presence and a way of making a home feel calmer just by being there.
Fathead is feline leukemia (FeLV) positive, which means he’ll need a home as an only cat or with another FeLV-positive kitty—perhaps even a friend like Brogan. FeLV-positive cats can live happy, comfortable lives indoors, and Fathead is ready to do just that with someone who understands his needs and sees only the love he has to give.
