Javelin has already been through more than any cat should have to endure, but today he's focused on what matters most: finding a family to call his own.

Meet Javelin

With his adorable tabby markings and the biggest tomcat cheeks you've ever seen, Javelin is a handsome fellow who turns heads wherever he goes. Those chubby cheeks give him a look of permanent charm and make him impossible to forget.

Javelin's path to safety began when he was found with a horrific wound on his back. The cause remains unknown, but it was clear he needed immediate medical attention. After treating his injuries, the veterinary clinic reached out to LCCR to take over his care and help him start a new chapter. Javelin was also discovered to be unneutered, suggesting he may have spent much of his life fending for himself.
What has amazed everyone along the way is just how affectionate he is with people.

Javelin loves human companionship and is quick to make friends with those who show him kindness. He enjoys attention, welcomes pets, and has a gentle, loving nature that shines through despite his difficult past. He seems truly grateful for every soft bed, warm meal, and caring hand that comes his way. He will even launch himself into the arms of the loving volunteers when he thinks he needs more pets and cuddles.

Javelin can be confrontational with other cats, although it's hard to know how much of that is personality and how much is the result of the stressful situations he's experienced. A calmer home environment may help him feel more secure, but at this time he would likely do best with a family that can carefully manage introductions or provide him with a home where he can be the king of the castle.

After everything he's been through, Javelin deserves a life filled with comfort, safety, and love. He's left his days of survival behind and is ready to embrace the life every cat dreams of.
