This pale ginger gentleman was found living in the river bottom of Lethbridge—an especially dangerous place for a domestic cat, made even more so by the presence of two cougars nearby. It was clear that Tollie had once belonged to someone, but for reasons unknown, he had been left to fend for himself. Despite all he’s been through, Tollie carries himself with a calm, noble grace that speaks volumes about his character.

Today, Tollie is safe with his friends at LCCR, where he has settled into life as a thoughtful observer of the world around him. He’s a beautiful, big ginger boy who prefers to spend his days hanging out near his feline friends, quietly watching the comings and goings of the ranch. He enjoys being where the action is—just not necessarily in the action. You’ll often find him lounging with his friends in the main area, taking it all in with his steady, watchful gaze.

Tollie is shy when it comes to human touch and will need time, patience, and understanding to continue rebuilding that trust. He isn’t interested in antics or shenanigans, despite his size, and he won’t be the cat knocking things off shelves or racing through the house at midnight. Instead, Tollie offers something equally special: peaceful companionship.

On warm days, Tollie’s favorite place is the catio, where he can bask in the sunshine and watch birds and frogs go about their business. These moments seem to bring him real contentment, and it’s easy to imagine him thriving in a quiet home with a safe outdoor enclosure or sunny window views.
