Meet Yoshi – A Quiet Soul With a Gentle Heart

Yoshi is a handsome tuxedo kitty with a soft spirit and an even softer gaze. He was rescued alongside his brother Kipling, sister Dixie, and their devoted mom Sauda from a managed colony. Thanks to caring humans who provided food and shelter while they lived outdoors, Yoshi and his family arrived at LCCR already somewhat accustomed to people—just not quite ready to trust them fully.

Yoshi is naturally timid and still figuring out that humans can be safe, kind, and predictable. Since arriving at LCCR, he has made steady progress. With patience and gentle encouragement, he has begun to relax in human presence and show those tiny but meaningful signs of growing confidence.

His journey isn’t finished yet. Yoshi will need a forever family who:
- Understands feral and semi-feral behaviour
- Is comfortable working slowly and respectfully at his pace
- Has the patience to celebrate the small wins
- Knows that trust is something built, not rushed

He has already shown us that he can thrive—he just needs the right humans to help him continue that journey.

Yoshi will do best in a calm, predictable household with people who appreciate quiet companionship. He may never be a lap cat, but he has all the potential to become a loyal, loving presence in the right home. With his gentle personality and willingness to try, Yoshi is absolutely worth the time and heart you invest.
